My Bio
I had my cystostomy in 1997 following years of prostate surgery and scarring, causing obstruction. My temporary colostomy, due to faecal peritonitis, was in
1999 and caused by a burst stercoral ulcer (a diverticular pouch). I had a permanent ileostomy in 2000 because of toxic megacolon. My bladder was removed in
2001 and I had a urostomy formed. My rectal stump was removed in 2005.
